Several Excel teams competed this weekend in the Des Moines area.  4th and 5th Grade Excel Red teams competed in the “Kings of the Court” tournament while 3rd Red & Black and 7th Black competed in the Ignite tournament.

A special shout-out for the 5th Grade Excel Red team who finished their weekend 3-1 overall and finished 2nd.  They beat Kingdom Hoops Navy 39-30, the Storm 70-35, and Iowa Prep 44-27, before losing a close championship game by 4-pts.

Great job to all the players and coaches who competed this weekend!
